Puerto Princesa, Palawan: A Nature's Haven: PPUR: The Wonder of Nature(Part 3 of 3)

The last installment of the long overdue series has finally came and now ready to be read and shared!

Palawan is really my dream destination! My eagerness to travel and explore Palawan burst when the campaign for the New 7 Wonders of Nature came to full swing. As a teacher and a Filipino, i personally campaigned for PPUR to my friends and students.

Exploring the wonder of nature was of the reasons why I love Palawan and when the chance knocked , my friends and I didn't have any second thought. April 18, 2012 was the  day. We woke up as early as 5:00 AM to prepare and had breakfast at our hotel. From where we stayed, it was a two-hour drive to the wharf, which is Sabang beach.

You will really be amazed with what you will discover, the white and powdery sand, the clear water, the huge rock formations, lush of green trees and of course cool and fresh air which we really don't experience in the city living.

After a 10-minute boatride from the wharf is a mini rainforest that will you to the wonder of nature, Puerto Princesa Underground River.

The local government opened almost 1 kilometer of the river to the public. It was indeed majestically heaven! It really deserves to have the title because it is really WONDERFUL! Just a tip to those who wants to travel and experience this, make sure you book the tour at least 2 months before prior your trip.

Philippines is really a nature's haven, we have to discover what God has given us and promote and preserve it so future generation can be able to experience what we just did!
